This track a music collage about St. Claude Avenue in New Orleans - the street where Miss Pussycat and I have lived for most of our lives. All of the sounds in this were recorded either on St. Claude or just a few blocks off. This music was originally commissioned by a museum in Crystal Bridges Arkansas. Included in this recording are some nuns saying a prayer that they put on the radio all the time, a guy named "Twister", 9th Ward Marching band setting off a car alarm during a parade, Weather Warlock sounds, frog sounds. and King Lee who wrote and recorded the "Tire Shop" single with me a bunch of years ago.

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
Genre-defying electronic music that at times operates at the slow stutter-step of dubstep and others with the drift of ambient. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 9, 2022
